Connecticut High Schoolers Break World Record with 16-Mile Conga Line for Charity

Get ready for a conga line like no other in Connecticut! A group of high school students from Greenwich wanted to break a world record and do something good. Led by a talented junior named Omar Galal, they formed a conga line that stretched a whopping 16 miles! They danced their way around the track at Cardinal Stadium, beating the previous record set in the Netherlands. Wow, what teamwork and determination!

But they didn't stop there. These amazing students also wanted to raise money for the River House Adult Day Center. With their impressive dance moves, they collected $8,500 by the end of their dance-a-thon. And guess what? They're still raising more money!

Now, their incredible conga line achievement is being sent to the Guinness World Records for official recognition. Let's give a big cheer to these energetic teens and their kind hearts as they make a difference, one dance step at a time!
